Help

Today has been just one of those day where I wish I could snap my fingers and magically appear on a beach with the warm sun beating down on my skin☀️ Instead of that magic I was tending to a flooded basement… Trying to stay positive about the situation we were forced to clean up a space I’ve been dreading to tackle… The boys went through all of their toys and trashed broken and wet toys, filled 5 bags for donations of clean but out grown toys and a keeper pile that was surprisingly smaller than I expected. So even if I wet vac’d all of the water up & knocked it over and had to re-wet vac everything up (i legit wanted to cry when i did this) it’s done. Dan didn’t have to rush home from work to help and I still had time to get ready for a nice night out 🙌🏼 The boys might of had cereal for breakfast and lunch today but they didn’t complain once, they didn’t fight or argue… they helped, they made my heart so happy and full ♥️
